If there are any questions or concerns please talk to Coach Julie directly. Parent conferences are available by appointment only. No parents are allowed on the deck during practice times. Parents and visitors may wait respectfully on the bleachers or outside the gate.

Parent Standards:

  • Be a good role model by modeling appropriate behavior, poise, and confidence.

  • Provide a positive experience for your athlete.

  • Encourage your student athlete to keep his/her perspective in both victory and defeat.

  • View the game with team goals in mind.

  • Display good sportsmanship in both victory and defeat.

  • Trust and allow the coaches to make decisions that are in the best interest of the team.

  • Value all members of the team; including athletes, parents, and coaches.

  • Look upon all team members as positive contributors to the team.

  • Get your athlete(s) to and from practices on time.

  • Attend as many meets as possible and understand that parent participation is essential in running all home meets.

  • Understanding that participation in fundraising activities supports our programs, our athletes, and special recognition awards, and without adequate funds would need to be suspended or discontinued.

If you feel the need to talk to a coach about an issue, you should call or e-mail to choose an appropriate time and place to talk.  With regard to such problems, some concerns are appropriate, while others are not.  Among the concerns that are appropriate for you to discuss with the coach are:

  • Ways to help your athlete improve

  • Concerns about your athlete’s behavior or physical health

Team emails are a means for coaches to effectively communicate with parents and athletes; and  are not a means of promoting personal opinions or agendas.  Please email questions and concerns directly to the coaches.
